M.B.A. and B.S.B.A., Finance
Job: Senior vice president and regional director for community and economic development at the Charlotte, N.C., office of Fifth Third Bank.
Big news: Jada is newly engaged, with a wedding date set for June 11 next year.
Proudest achievement: “That I was the first woman in my family to go to college and receive my Masters in Business Administration."
Hobbies: Hip hop dancing, line dancing, and making balloon art
Favorite RMU memory: Class with assistant professor Vickie Fratto, Ph.D., "who influenced me to actually enjoy managerial accounting." Also working as treasurer of the Black Student Union during a time of significant growth.
Last RMU event attended: Living in Charlotte now, this Pittsburgh native didn’t have to drive far to watch the Colonials play Duke in the NCAA Tournament this spring. Jada also was at the opening of Joe Walton Stadium in 2005, and will be back for her 15th Class Reunion this fall.
Why she stays connected: "Robert Morris University played such an important role in my life. I was given the opportunity to go to school because of a scholarship I received; had I not gotten one, my family could not have afforded it. I feel that it’s now my turn to give back to the university."
How she gives back: Jada supports the School of Business Dean's Fund, the Women's Leadership and Mentorship Program, and other RMU funds and scholarships.
