Home: The twin brothers grew up in Donora. Aaron now lives in Stowe Twp., while Anthony lives in Alexandria, Va., with his wife, Nakeria.
Work: Anthony is a consultant with Deloitte and Touche, responsible for audit remediation to the federal government, while Aaron is a financial aid officer at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Proudest Achievement: For Aaron, speaking at the National Council for Black American Affairs about financial aid and personal finance. For Anthony, it's marrying Nakeria, the love of his life and someone who encourages him to strive for greatness and never give up.
What They're Passionate About: Anthony has always been passionate about sports and has joined a flag football league. Aaron enjoys participating in the theater, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Favorite RMU Memory: For Anthony, it was being president of student government. "I really enjoyed working with all of the student organizations and helping them promote their groups' funding activities," he says. Aaron says becoming a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity was a "life-changing experience that opened up many doors and opportunities I never thought would happen."
Twin Experience: The Cook brothers say they enjoyed going to college with each other. "It was great," says Aaron. "We had some similar activities that we shared, but we also had our individual activities that we took part in."
Last Event Attended: Homecoming 2014
Why They Stay Connected: "I really enjoyed my experience there and like staying up-to-date with what is happening at RMU," Anthony says. Aaron concurs: "I have created so many memories and have grown so much as a person at RMU, and I don't want to forget them."
